Kimberly (Yant) Spallinger

Kimberly (Yant) Spallinger graduated from Indian Valley High School in 1993. She attended Bluffton University and majored in English. Later she received a MATESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) degree from Bowling Green State University. 

After graduation, she taught teacher preparation and linguistics courses at Bluffton University and also had the opportunity to teach for a short time in Viet Nam.

In 2004, she became a full-time faulty member at Bowling Green State University. At BGSU, her primary role has been in ESOL, teaching graduate and undergraduate students in both speaking/listening and writing courses. Additionally, she occasionally teaches courses in linguistics and TESOL.

She is currently serving as Associate Chair and Graduate Coordinator for the Department of English.
